Wenger quits Arsenal boss

Frenchman Arsene Wenger announced on Friday that after 22 years in charge of the Gunners, he will leave Arsenal at the end of this season.

“After the meeting with the club, I feel it’s the right time to leave when the season comes. I am so grateful to have had the privilege of serving the club for so many memorable years. I led this club with total commitment and integrity. I want to thank the staff, players, directors and fans who make this club so special. I ask the supporters to continue supporting the team to finish up. All Arsenal fans take care of the club’s values. With my love and support forever, “Wenger said in a statement.

The French coach for the 22 years in command of the team has won 16 titles: Three championships, seven Cup and six supertakes.
